Ahh... the allure of the iconic Bond Girl, sexy, beautiful, dangerous, and in a swimming suit no less, now that's a
big role to fill considering actresses Ursula Andress to Halle Berry among others have played that part, but we gave
it our best shot. May accessorizes herself with toy guns for the "007 Secret
Agent" and "License to Kill" look.
The imagery of Bond Women over the years wasn't just in the fact that they were
stoned cold gorgeous, beauty is only skin deep, but more significantly it helped set the tone of the feminist
movement of the 1960's and 70's for a confident, self assured, independent adventurous woman, reinforce with feminine
strength and resilience, and was certainly anything but the perfect nurturing mother and subservient
trophy housewife of the 1950's nuclear family. What was also unveiled in these espionage thrillers was this new age
woman had a dark side, in that she could be just as selfish, evil and callous as men, and you didn't turn your back
on a "Bond Girl".
To quote a line from the title song of the 1973 007 classic "Live and Let Die", When you were
young and your heart was an open book, you use to say live and let live, but in this ever changing world in which we
live in, makes you give it a cry to say "Live and let Die". Bond Girls Are Forever!
